โHow the Acne Program Works:
Our Acne Treatment Program uses a comprehensive approach to treat acne and restore healthy skin. We combine the power of biweekly acne treatments with professional acne care products, and the guidance and expertise of an Acne Skincare Specialist. All treatment and product selection is determined on an individual basis. What works for one person may not work for the other. For this reason, we keep a watchful eye on how your skin responds - making modifications to your treatment plan as needed. As your acne lesions begin to heal, we will continue making modifications to encourage the repairing and rebuilding process. Once your acne is under control, you will need to maintain your daily skincare regimen to keep your acne at bay.
Some patients display acne patterns and symptoms that are indicative of an underlying health problem such as food, gluten and chemical intolerance; nutritional deficiencies, toxicity, adrenal fatigue, digestive disorders, and hormonal imbalances. By taking a functional approach to treatment, At Skinsational By Kara we provide guidance in treating your acne from the inside out. If necessary, recommendations for alternative treatment will be provided.
โTypes of Acne We Treat:
We treat grades 1-4 acne vulgaris, which includes mild to severe cases of non-inflamed acne, inflamed acne, and cystic acne. While the demand for treating teenage acne is a tall order, the many of our patients have adult and menopausal acne. What works for one person may not work for the other. For this reason, all in-office treatments and daily skincare regimens are determined on an individual basis. As your skin's health improves, your acne treatments and skincare regimen will continually be adjusted to facilitate the acne clearing process.
